Formerly a coaching inn with history tracing back to 1372 the White Hart Hotel offers a newly refurbished contemporary interior combined with classic period features and bespoke furnishings designed by Gabriel Murray of acclaimed Studio 48.

There is a choice of 2 licensed rooms for a civil marriage or civil partnership ceremony, plus countless locations within and surrounding the hotel for photographs.

Whether the happy couple want an intimate wedding breakfast for 10 or a lively reception for 200, the White Hart Hotel has several rooms on offer to suit all needs.

King Richard Suite & The Eastgate
Newly refurbished in April 2008 with a modern twist, the King Richard Suite can cater for up 100. Along with the adjoining Eastgate up to 200 people can dance the night away. The Eastgate is also licensed for civil ceremonies for 50 – 100 people.

The Pink Lounge
Up to 45 guests can enjoy a wedding breakfast in this lounge, it is also licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 50 people.

The Wellington Room

The Yarborough Room
Ideal for those wanting a small celebration with up to 10 guests seated around one table

The White Hart & Lincoln Grille offer the happy couple the complete package; a civil ceremony or partnership, wedding photographs, a beautiful reception and a discounted first night in a hotel suite. All plans are taken care of by a dedicated events manager and banqueting manager.

Couples can choose from three extensive wedding packages all of which include an arrival cocktail, a 3 course menu with coffee, wine, mineral water and a glass of bubbles to toast the newlyweds.

The Lincoln Grille, part of the Room Restaurants Group, expertly serves up a decadent wedding feast. Wedding guests can enjoy starters such as chicken liver parfait and mains of pan fried sea bass with fennel and onion compote, dill and cream sauce, and for desert the black cherry and kirsch cheesecake with Chantilly cream comes highly recommended.

For those also wanting arrival canapés and late evening snacks the Lincoln Grille offers two canapé menus and two finger buffet menus. Guests can graze on duck spring rolls with plum sauce, king prawns and rare roast beef.
